Terms for Plugins and the Inference Works Cloud Service
Effective date:
§ 1. General provisions
- These Terms govern the use of WordPress/WooCommerce plugins published by Inference Works (the Plugins), their paid Pro editions and the Inference Works Cloud service.
- The service provider is Inference Works Sp. z o.o., with its registered office in Sadurki, Sadurki 122A, 24-150 Nałęczów, Poland, entered in the Register of Entrepreneurs of the National Court Register under KRS number 0001229979, tax identification number (NIP) 7162851708, statistical identification number (REGON) 544296692, with a share capital of PLN 5,000 (Inference Works).
- Contact: [email protected].
- The Plugins are intended for businesses operating online stores. Individuals conducting business who use the Plugins in connection with that business have the additional rights described in § 11.
§ 2. Definitions
- Free Plugin — a version of a Plugin made available free of charge, in particular in the WordPress.org directory.
- Pro Plugin — a version of a Plugin with additional features, available under a Pro License.
- Pro License — paid, renewable access to a Pro Plugin, its updates, support and Cloud features, for a specified number of stores.
- Membership — a Pro License covering all Pro Plugins included in the plan, including those added later.
- Inference Works Cloud (Cloud) — an online service provided by Inference Works, used by Pro Plugins for features including those based on artificial intelligence (AI).
- Freemius — Freemius, Inc., a sales and licensing platform that acts as the seller of Pro Licenses (Merchant of Record).
- User — a business using a Plugin.
§ 3. Free Plugins and the code license
- The code of both Free and Pro Plugins is made available under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later (GPL-2.0-or-later). These Terms do not restrict the rights granted under that license.
- Free Plugins are free of charge and work without a connection to Cloud.
- Free Plugins are provided as is, without any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, to the extent permitted by law.
§ 4. Pro Licenses and purchases
- Pro Licenses are sold by Freemius as Merchant of Record: Freemius collects payments, calculates taxes and issues sales documents. Freemius terms also apply to purchases.
- A Pro License is annual and automatically renews for another year unless the User cancels it. Cancellation stops subsequent renewals; the License remains valid until the end of the paid period.
- A Pro License covers the number of stores (production domains) specified in the plan. Local, test and staging environments recognized by Freemius do not count toward this limit. A License may be transferred to another domain by deactivating it on the previous domain.
- Current plans, prices and AI feature limits are provided at inferenceworks.eu/plugins and in the Plugin dashboard.
- New Users may be offered a free trial of a Pro License on the terms indicated at checkout. A trial does not require a payment method unless the purchase terms state otherwise.
- When a Pro License expires, Pro features and Cloud access stop working. The Plugin continues to operate with Free features, and data stored in the User’s store (such as settings, rules and reports) remains there.
§ 5. Refunds
- Within 30 days of the first purchase of a Pro License, the User may request a full refund without giving a reason.
- Freemius processes the refund to the payment method used for the purchase. The Pro License expires upon refund.
- The rule in paragraph 1 applies to the first purchase of a given License. Refunds for renewals are considered individually.
§ 6. Inference Works Cloud and AI features
- A Pro Plugin sends data to Cloud only after the store administrator gives consent in the Plugin dashboard. The scope of the data sent is described in the Privacy Policy and the Plugin’s readme file.
- Cloud processes data on servers in the European Union. To generate content, Cloud uses AI models from the providers listed in the Privacy Policy.
- Each plan has monthly AI usage limits. Once a limit is reached, AI features are unavailable until the start of the next billing period; other features continue to work normally.
- AI-generated content (such as titles, descriptions, attributes, categories and suggestions) consists of proposals. The User is responsible for reviewing it before publication, particularly for compliance with the law, marketplace terms and the actual characteristics of the product.
- Inference Works makes efforts to keep Cloud running continuously but does not guarantee a specific level of availability. Cloud unavailability does not affect the operation of the store or Plugin features that do not use Cloud.
- Using Cloud without the Plugin, circumventing limits, submitting unlawful content or using Cloud in a way that threatens its security is prohibited. A breach of these rules may result in suspension of Cloud access.
§ 7. External services
- The Plugins work with third-party services, in particular WordPress, WooCommerce and Allegro. Inference Works is not affiliated with or endorsed by these entities; their names are used solely to indicate compatibility.
- These services are used under agreements between the User and their providers. The User is responsible for complying with their terms, including the rules for listing offers on Allegro.
- The Plugins connect to external services directly from the User’s store. Data sent in this way, such as orders from Allegro, does not pass through Inference Works servers.
- Inference Works is not responsible for changes, interruptions or decisions made by external service providers, including changes to their APIs.
§ 8. User obligations
- The User must use the Plugins in accordance with the law and documentation, with current, supported versions of WordPress, WooCommerce and PHP.
- The User must back up the store before installing or updating the Plugins.
- The User is responsible for the data sent using the Plugins, including having a legal basis for processing it.
§ 9. Support and updates
- A Pro License includes updates and email support throughout its validity. We respond within 1–2 business days.
- Support for Free Plugins is provided on the WordPress.org forum, without a guaranteed response time.
- Support does not include custom implementations, changes to store code or configuration of external services.
§ 10. Liability
- Inference Works is liable for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence under the general rules of law.
- In other cases, Inference Works’ liability to the User is limited to the amount paid for the Pro License during the 12 months preceding the event that caused the damage. For Free Plugins, liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
- Inference Works is not liable for lost profits, including lost sales, the consequences of publishing AI-generated content without reviewing it, or the operation of external services.
§ 11. Sole traders with consumer rights
- An individual entering into a contract directly related to their business, where the contract is not of a professional nature for that individual, has consumer rights to the extent provided by law, in particular regarding unfair contract terms and the conformity of digital content with the contract.
- The provisions of § 10 paragraphs 2 and 3 do not restrict these rights.
§ 12. Complaints
- Complaints may be submitted to [email protected], describing the problem, the Plugin version and the store address.
- We respond to complaints within 14 days.
- Complaints concerning payments and sales documents are handled by Freemius.
§ 13. Changes to the Terms
- Inference Works may amend these Terms for important reasons, in particular changes in law, Plugin features or service providers.
- We give at least 14 days’ notice of changes at inferenceworks.eu/terms and by email to Pro License holders. A User who does not accept the changes may cancel their Pro License.
§ 14. Final provisions
- These Terms are governed by Polish law.
- Disputes with businesses are resolved by the court having jurisdiction over Inference Works’ registered office, subject to mandatory provisions of law.
- These Terms take effect on 4 November 2026.
