The search field does not open the overlay
Check that the plugin and WooCommerce are active. Add the field selector under Settings → Search fields → Additional fields. Check that neither the field nor its parent has data-infs-ignore. Use the Product search block, [inference_search] shortcode or an element with data-infs-open to test the overlay itself.
Missing products or outdated results
Check progress under Inference Works → Search → Index, and verify that Action Scheduler / WP-Cron jobs run. An administrator with WP-CLI access can use:

wp infs index 123 456The last command indexes specific product IDs; replace the numbers with actual IDs. Check the product name, SKU and availability settings. An exact SKU should place the product first.
Caching and appearance changes
Search endpoints are public REST routes without nonces. Responses are cached for 10 minutes and invalidated when products or settings change. Saving settings also clears common page caches. If styling is still outdated, clear theme, optimisation and CDN caches; check the browser console for blocked CSS, JavaScript or REST requests.
Statistics behind Cloudflare or a proxy
The statistics endpoint limits each visitor to 60 events per minute by IP. If a proxy hides visitor IPs, an administrator should configure the infs_log_client filter for a trusted header. Do not trust client-supplied headers without verifying the proxy configuration.
Voice search is unavailable
Enable it in settings and check browser speech recognition support and permissions. Not every browser supports it. Some send recordings to the browser provider; the plugin itself neither receives nor stores audio.
Pro or license activation fails
Check that Pro is active, the key belongs to this product and the plan has a remaining activation. See license and activation. When contacting support, include WordPress, PHP, WooCommerce and plugin versions, your theme and reproduction steps. Remove license keys and customer data from attachments.
